I’d like to make a call for assistance in forming an organization similar to Knife Rights in the US.
Our Canadian knife laws are ambiguous, out of date and restrict law abiding citizens who have an interest in collecting and using folding knives. Not only does this limit our ability to buy and sell certain varieties of folding knives, it also limits our ability to manufacture and export, ultimately effecting both personal enjoyment and our economy.
Our rights can’t be taken for granted. It is likely at some point our government will try and pass further legislation restricting currently available knives and tools.
If you have any applicable skills you can contribute, particularly legal or political experience, please contact Andrew at email@example.com to discuss the possibilities of forming Knife Rights Canada.
